I know that I’m going to make my loyal readers all have strokes by telling all of you that an anti-vaccine website gets all the facts wrong about the HPV vaccine. I know you just can’t imagine that any anti-vaccine website is filled with scientific facts. I hate to be the one to break this sad news, but I doubt that most of them can spell vaccine, let alone present scientific facts.
An anti-vaccine website, that is an unknown to me, dropped this breathless headline late last month – “Pfizer Vice President Blows Whistle – ‘The Gardasil Vaccine is Deadly.‘” Oh no, I’ve been wrong. The dozens of high quality clinical and epidemiological studies that have firmly established the safety of the vaccine are useless because a Pfizer VP says so.
Because I’m a corporate shill, if a Pfizer VP tells me I’m wrong, I must be wrong. Let’s close down shop and move on to some other pursuit like analyzing the World Cup. Apparently, I know more about the World Cup than I do about Gardasil.
An anti-vaccine website quoting a Pfizer VP must be accurate
Yes, if an anti-vaccine website uses as its source a Big Pharma executive, it must be true. It’s well known that Big Pharma executives speak the truth, 100% of the time. They are considered the most honest human beings ever, far above politicians, used car salesmen, and homeopaths.
The Pfizer executive, one Dr. Peter Rost, one of the leading vaccine scientists in the world, said:
The former vice president of the world’s largest pharmaceutical company has blown the whistle to expose the true dangers of mandatory vaccinations. Dr. Peter Rost lifted the lid on vaccines and revealed that the Gardasil inoculation, in particular, is in fact, “deadly”.
So who is this award-winning Dr. Rost? Well, according to his Wikipedia article, and you know that if you have a Wikipedia article you are truly famous, Dr. Rost is:
…a former drug marketing executive and is most known for taking public stances critical of the pharmaceutical industry as an “insider” and whistleblower. He sued his last two pharmaceutical employers, Wyeth and Pfizer, the latter of which fired him in 2005. At Wyeth, he uncovered tax evasion practices, and after informing senior company executives, was transferred from Sweden to a post in New Jersey.
He apparently is a man of honor after throwing his companies under the bus after he was fired. Obviously, he supported the science at Big Pharma, as he was just annoyed a little bit about the tax and marketing practices at those companies.
Of course, Dr. Rost’s vast knowledge, expertise, and peer-reviewed publications in vaccines obviously led the anti-vaccine website to embrace his views on vaccines. His opinion about Gardasil must really matter to the world. I’m going to nominate him for the Nobel Prize today!
Pfizer’s Gardasil is dangerous
Obviously, Dr. Rost’s knowledge is only with respect to Pfizer’s Gardasil. The other Gardasil, manufactured by Merck, must be a completely different product. Excellent, I’m shilling for the right version of Gardasil.
Oh hold on…I might have erred here. Oh, Pfizer has nothing to do with Gardasil? You mean, only Merck makes Gardasil, the cancer-prevention vaccine?
Obviously, Pfizer has the secret cancer cure, the one cure to cure them all, so they want to suppress all other cancer cures or preventions. I’m sure Pfizer is secretly behind Big Tobacco, just to sell more of their cancer treatments.
Connect the dots people. Connect the dots!
The great Dr. Rost pontificates
The anti-vaccine website adds more from the illustrious and unimpeachable Dr. Rost:
In a shocking exposé from one of the highest-ranking whistleblowers to date, Rost has also claimed that Big Pharma is purposely keeping the public unhealthy so they can make a fortune from continual treatments of illnesses rather than curing them.
And he’s right. Gardasil won’t prevent 41,000 cancers a year in the USA alone.
It’s so nice that a respected physician and whistleblower, obviously one of the world’s leading experts in vaccines, has such important information about Gardasil. And I’m so glad that an anti-vaccine website took the time to bring us such accurate information about the vaccine!
